What is the Laundry Mineral Wash?

Our Laundry Mineral Wash is a concentrated, mineral-based formula created for the everyday care of washable textiles.

A considered blend of mineral salts and a gentle coconut-derived cleansing agent works to clean, soften and deodorise everyday fabrics, while your chosen Ode leaves behind a subtle trace of fragrance.

How much should I use?

For a standard 8–10kg load, use one Ode to Home wooden scoop, approximately 30g.

For smaller or lightly soiled loads, use half a scoop.

Does the wooden scoop come with my Mineral Wash?

Yes. Each Laundry Mineral Wash includes an Ode to Home wooden measuring scoop, so your everyday measure remains simple.

Where do I add the Mineral Wash?

Add your measured Laundry Mineral Wash directly to the wash as directed for your washing machine.

Always follow your machine manufacturer's instructions and the care instructions of your textiles.

Do I need to use detergent with it?

The Laundry Mineral Wash has been formulated for everyday cleansing, softening and deodorising.

For heavily soiled loads, stubborn stains or textiles requiring deeper enzymatic cleaning, we recommend pairing it with an appropriate enzyme detergent and treating stains separately where required.

What can I wash with it?

The Laundry Mineral Wash is created for everyday washable textiles including linen, clothing, towels and household textiles.

Always follow the textile manufacturer's care instructions, particularly for delicate or specialty fabrics.

Can I use it on wool, silk or other delicate fibres?

Delicate and specialty fibres can have very specific pH and laundering requirements. Always defer to the textile manufacturer's care instructions.

What is an Ode?

An Ode is our approach to fragrance.

Rather than creating a conventional “clean laundry” scent, each Ode is composed to evoke a particular atmosphere, memory or feeling of home.

Designed to remain subtle on freshly washed textiles, your chosen Ode becomes part of the atmosphere rather than overpowering it.

How strong is the fragrance?

Considered rather than overpowering.

Our Odes are designed to leave a subtle trace of fragrance on freshly washed textiles. How fragrance is experienced can vary according to the fabric, wash cycle, drying method and individual perception.

Which Ode should I choose?

Ode 01 · Garden Room
Botanical, fresh and aromatic. For those drawn to herbs, lavender, soft woods and the freshness of an open garden.

Ode 02 · Inherited
Woody, warm and quietly spiced. Dry woods, worn leather and ambered musk.

Ode 03 · The Good Linen
Fresh, green and airy. Citrus, creamy fig, pale woods and clean musk.

Ode 04 · Grand Hotel
Warm, ambered and polished. Creamy almond, white florals, golden amber and soft woods.

Is Ode 01 different from the other Odes?

Yes.

Ode 01 · Garden Room is our 100% naturally derived fragrance composition, created using naturally derived botanical aromatic materials.

Odes 02–04 combine natural and synthetic fragrance materials, allowing us to create scent profiles and nuances that cannot always be achieved through botanical perfumery alone.

Are Odes 02–04 phthalate-free?

Yes. Odes 02–04 are created using phthalate-free fragrance compositions. All compositions are also vegan, cruelty-free and paraben-free.

INTERIORS & TEXTILE PARFUM

What is Interiors & Textile Parfum?

Interiors & Textile Parfum is our way of extending fragrance beyond the wash.

Where the Laundry Mineral Wash brings scent into the fabric itself, Interiors & Textile Parfum is designed to be used in the spaces and surfaces of the home — the rooms you move through, the linen you live with, the quiet moments between washes.

It is a way of maintaining atmosphere, not just cleanliness.

How is it different from the Odes used in the wash?

The Odes in our Laundry Mineral Wash are designed to bind gently to textiles through the washing process, becoming part of the fabric over time.

Interiors & Textile Parfum is designed for direct use in the home — on air, linen, soft furnishings and interior spaces — offering a more immediate expression of the same scent world.

They are related, but not identical experiences of fragrance.

How can I use it?

Interiors & Textile Parfum can be used to:

Refresh bedding and linen between washes
Lightly scent towels, cushions and soft furnishings
Bring atmosphere to bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces
Reawaken textiles that have been stored or unused

Always use on clean, dry fabrics and test on a small, inconspicuous area first.

Will it stain fabrics?

When used as directed, Interiors & Textile Parfum is designed to be gentle on textiles.

However, as with all fragranced products, we recommend testing on delicate or light-coloured fabrics before full use.

Does it replace washing?

No.

Interiors & Textile Parfum is not a cleaning product. It is designed to complement, not replace, regular laundering and textile care.

Can I change or cancel my order?

We begin preparing orders as quickly as possible. If you need to make a change, contact us at care@odetohome.com.au as soon as possible.

We cannot guarantee changes once an order has entered fulfilment, but we will always do our best to help.

My order arrived damaged. What should I do?

We want every Ode to arrive as it should.

Please contact care@odetohome.com.au within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photographs of the item and packaging so we can assist you.
