LAUNDRY MINERAL WASH
What is the Laundry Mineral Wash?
Our Laundry Mineral Wash is a concentrated, naturally derived formula for everyday washing. Mineral salts and a gentle coconut-derived cleansing agent lift everyday soiling and leave fabrics soft and fresh.
Is it the same as the Laundry Fragrance Minerals?
They’re two separate products made to sit side by side in your laundry. The Mineral Wash does the cleaning. The Laundry Fragrance Minerals carry your chosen Ode into the wash. Use the Mineral Wash on its own for an unscented wash, or add Fragrance Minerals when you want an Ode to stay with your linen.
How much should I use?
For a standard 8–10kg load, use one Ode to Home wooden scoop, approximately 30g. For smaller or lightly soiled loads, use half a scoop.
Does the wooden scoop come with my Mineral Wash?
Yes. Each Laundry Mineral Wash includes an Ode to Home wooden measuring scoop.
Where do I add the Mineral Wash?
Add your measured Mineral Wash directly to the wash as directed for your washing machine. Always follow your machine manufacturer’s instructions and the care label on your textiles.
Do I need to use detergent with it?
The Mineral Wash is made for everyday washing. For heavily soiled loads or stubborn stains, pair it with an enzyme detergent and treat stains separately where needed.
What can I wash with it?
Everyday washable linen, clothing, towels and household textiles. Always follow the care label, particularly for delicate or specialty fabrics.
Can I use it on wool, silk or other delicate fibres?
Delicate fibres can have very specific laundering needs. Always defer to the textile manufacturer’s care instructions.
LAUNDRY FRAGRANCE MINERALS
What are the Laundry Fragrance Minerals?
Fragranced mineral crystals that carry an Ode into your wash. The mineral base softens the water, so the fragrance settles into the fabric and stays with it once it’s dry. They’re a mineral and plant-derived alternative to conventional scent boosters and fabric softeners.
How do I use them?
Add your Fragrance Minerals to the drum at the start of the wash, along with your Mineral Wash or usual detergent.
How much should I use?
We recommend one level wooden scoop, approximately 30g, for a standard 4–5kg wash. For a full load or a stronger scent, add another scoop.
Can I use them with my own detergent?
Yes. They work alongside any detergent, so you can bring an Ode into the laundry you already do.
Do they clean?
They’re made for fragrance. Pair them with the Mineral Wash or a detergent to get your laundry clean.
THE ODES
What is an Ode?
An Ode is our approach to fragrance. Each one is composed around a mood or a memory of home, well away from the usual clean-laundry scent.
How strong is the fragrance?
Distinct, and made to last on the fabric. How it comes through will vary with the fabric, the wash cycle, how you dry and your own sense of smell.
Which Ode should I choose?
Ode 01 · Turndown
Warm and woody, with a bright edge of citrus. The cosy hour when the bed’s been turned down and the lamps are low.
Ode 02 · Inherited
Leather and dry woods with a smoky warmth. Like an old armchair in a room that’s been lived in for years.
Ode 03 · Voile
Quiet and close to the skin. Soft florals over a warm, gently spiced base, fresh and light with a little sweetness.
Ode 04 · Adorned
Warm resins softened with musk. Our seasonal Ode for spring and summer.
Is Adorned available all year?
Adorned is our spring and summer Ode, released for the warmer months.
Are the Odes phthalate-free?
Yes. Every Ode is phthalate-free. All our compositions are also vegan, cruelty-free and paraben-free.
TEXTILE REFRESHER MIST
What is the Textile Refresher Mist?
A light mist that brings your Ode into the home between washes, for the rooms you move through and the linen you live with.
How is it different from the Fragrance Minerals?
The Fragrance Minerals carry an Ode into fabric through the wash. The mist is for use straight onto linen, soft furnishings and the air, so the scent comes through right away.
How can I use it?
- Refresh bedding and linen between washes
- Lightly scent towels, cushions and soft furnishings
- Bring an Ode into bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces
- Freshen linen that’s been stored away
Always use on clean, dry fabrics and test a small, hidden area first.
Will it stain fabrics?
Used as directed, the mist is gentle on textiles. As with any fragranced product, test on delicate or light-coloured fabrics first.
Does it replace washing?
The mist freshens between washes. It isn’t a cleaning product, so keep up your regular laundering.

Can I change or cancel my order?
We start preparing orders quickly. If you need to make a change, email care@odetohome.com.au as soon as you can. We can’t guarantee changes once an order is in fulfilment, but we’ll always do our best to help.
My order arrived damaged. What should I do?
We want every Ode to arrive as it should. Email care@odetohome.com.au within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and packaging, and we’ll sort it out.
